Plaza Dársena

It is said to be the most visited plaza in San Juan and there are many buildings surrounding it and the bay is right behind it, so it it’s a beautiful place to visit.

 

Plaza San José

It is a bronze statue next to the San Sebastian Street, and it is there to honor the first Governor of Puerto Rico, which was also in the second voyage to discover Puerto Rico. It’s also right next to the Pablo Casals Museum and the San Jose Church.

  

Plaza de las Monjas

It can be also referred to “Plazuela Las Monjas”. It serves as a cultural feature park in San Juan municipio. It can be located in the San Juan Antiguo barrio.

Plaza de Colón

This statue memorializes the 400^th anniversary of the discovery of Puerto Rico in Columbus second voyage to the New World. And this statute is in the entrance of Old San Juan and it’s between Fortaleza Street and Juan Ponce de Leon Avenue.

 

Hotel El Convento

         This hotel is located in Calle de Cristo in el Viejo San Juan. It is very elegant and gorgeous. The entrance to his hotel had huge doors which make it look even better. It has very long columns on the inside and it’s a great place to stay. I strongly consider staying in this hotel.

La Garita del Diablo

           La Garita del Diablo got its name from this  very interesting and mysterious legend about how the Spaniards had to keep guard and most of the garitas were pretty close but this one was the farthest one in el Castillo San Cristobal and then one morning when they went to check on the guard, his uniform was there and his rifle but he was gone. It is a very interesting legend that I advise you to read and it makes it even more interesting to go there when you know the legend.

El Hamburger

          This restaurant is located in Puerta de Tierra. They have been making hamburgers for about 30 years and their food is great.
