La Puerta de San Juan

It is said to be dated in 1630’s, also it marks the end of el Paseo de la Princesa and also is one of the three that are still left standing. When the Spanish ships were anchored in the cove just off the ramparts they entered through the tall red portal to leave supplies and also colonist.
